
Kathmandu, 2 November: Two Chief Ministers have tendered their resignation from their post. Chief Minister (CM) of Province 1 Bhim Acharya and Karnali province CM Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, have stepped down from the office. Organising a press conference on Monday, Chief Minister Shahi announced his resignation from the post as per the understanding made earlier with leader of Nepali Congress Karnali Province Assembly, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi. Chief Minister Shahi, while taking vote of confidence in April had made an understanding to hand over power to the Nepali Congress after six months.
