Kathmandu, 28 October: Global IME Bank Limited has opened a new branch in Katari Bazaar of Udayapur district. It is the 283rd branch of the bank that has come into operation from Tuesday. With the operation of the new branch in Katari Bazaar, Katari Municipality-3 of Udaipur district, the number of branch offices of the bank has reached 283. With the objective of providing access to banking services across the country and abroad, the bank has reached 283 branches in 76 districts, 251 ATMs, 260 branchless banking services, 48 extensions and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign representative offices among more than 840 service centers, according to a press statement issued by the bank.   The bank has been making a significant contribution to the economy of the country by receiving remittances from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong and other countries.  People's News Monitoring Service
