Federalism for whom?
We don’t need federalism. Maybe, some foreign puppets want federalism. It makes clear that federalism is for the Westerners, that’s why the World Bank has approved a 27 billion rupees worth loan to retain federalism.
Unfortunately, we, the citizens, will have to pay back the loan taken by the government, yet, we have remained silent!
Tamasha at Supreme Court
UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli and Maoist Center chair Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda are in a fight to finish each other’s political careers.
Some cases in the SC may decide the political victory either of Oli or Prachanda. Therefore, both of them are trying their best to influence the Court.
The Court is politically divided and Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana is under pressure from both sides. Rana’s recent activities such as seeking his share in the government were exposed by the partners of the ruling alliance, which has drawn Rana into controversy. Some sections have already demanded the resignation of Rana from the post of the CJ.
Ousting of Rana will not cure the disease of which the Court is suffering. As the political parties have recruited their workers in the SC, the present situation has been witnessed. Be that as it may, this is a symptom that the system has already been failed.
