8 billion 268 million rupees worth paddy damaged from off-season rains
Kathmandu, 25 October: Floods and landslides caused by the heavy post-monsoon rains last week have damaged paddy worth 8 billion 268 million rupees.
According to the Agriculture and Livestock Ministry, 325 thousand two hundred 58 Metric Tons of paddy was damaged.
A total of 26 districts have been badly affected by the landslides and floods which claimed the lives of 117 people.
