Kathmandu, 24 October: The proposed 14th national convention of the Nepali Congress is likely to be postponed again. As Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba has not been able to look after the party works and the party is unable to resolve the dispute of active membership in some districts, the national convention date can be affected, say sources. Still, in 13 districts, the local level assembly has not been held due to the dispute over the active membership. Of late, for the fourth time, the party had decided to hold its national convention from 25 to 29 November. The national convention date can be postponed for two weeks or a month, said a source closed to PM Deuba. People’s News Monitoring Service
