
Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma is scheduled to pay his first foreign visit from India. The visit, which is being scheduled at the invitation of Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukunda Narwane, is being prepared for immediately after the Tihar festival. According to a military source, preparations have been made accordingly as a visit from India is scheduled for November.

A source informed, "The chief's visit is in the pipeline. But preparations for the visit have been kept secret. Bilateral and military cooperation will be discussed during the visit”.
A meeting of the Bilateral Consultative Group between Nepal and India is also taking place after the Tihar festival. The presence of military officials in the group from both the sides will be visible. It is said that there will be a detailed discussion on the exchange of military assistance.
The meeting of the group covers issues ranging from the border between the two countries to financial cooperation. It includes representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Home Affairs. The team will be led by a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jana Aastha News reports.
