Kathmandu, 20 October: Indian ambassador Vinaya Mokan Kwatra called on the former prime minister and chair of the NCP Unified Socialist Party Madhav Nepal at the latter’s residence Koteshwar. During the meeting, the Indian ambassador discussed contemporary political issues with Nepal. It is said that the meeting focused on the relations between the two countries including the recent one-month visit of the Ambassador, according to Jana Aastha News. Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador Hou Yanqi also met with CPN-Maoist Central chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. At a function held in the capital, the Chinese ambassador held sideline talks with Prachanda. During the meeting, the ambassador extended the wish of China and the Chinese people for the unification among the communist parties in Nepal, Jana Aastha News reports.
