NRNA election scheduled for 30 November
Kathmandu, 18 October: The election for the new executive team of the Non-Residental Nepalis’ Organisation (NRNA) is scheduled for 30 November.
The meeting of the NRNA has decided to hold its election on 30 November, said Gauriraj Joshi, secretary, NRNA.
Earlier, NRNA had decided to hold its international general assembly from 23 to 25 October. After a dispute on the Organisation’s general assembly representatives, the Foreign Ministry had asked to postpone the general assembly dates.
Three thousand 5 hundred representatives from 64 nations are selected to participate in the 10th general assembly of NRNA.
The general assembly is to elect a new team of 48 members to lead the Organisation.
