Kathmandu, 11 October: Minister for Energy and Water Resources Pampha Bhushal has urged the concerned sectors to use electric appliances for cooking food by replacing LP gas, which is being imported by spending foreign currency. Bhushal said that the nation can save a huge amount of foreign currency spending by using electricity for cooking purposes.  The Minister further said to increase the use of hydropower by displacing all other kinds of energy sources, from which, the nation can save foreign currency. She also assured for providing necessary electricity for the transportation and industrial sector within one year. People's News Monitoring Service
