Kathmandu, 11 October: The curfew imposed by the local district administration in Butwal yesterday is continuing today also.  Ward No 17 and 18 of the Butwal Sub-Municipality is experiencing curfew since Sunday after. Squatters had occupied the land of a proposed industrial estate. When the Police tried to evict the squatters, a clash was witnessed between the squatters and the Police.  The District Administration Officer informed that the Police had to open fire to save their lives.  When the incident was intensified, the local administration has imposed a curfew.
