Kathmandu, 11 October: Chief Justice Cholendra S Rana has also demanded his share in the appointment of the ambassadors, reports state.
CJ Rana, who had demanded two ministerial portfolios in the expanded cabinet to be assigned under his recommendation, has also demanded the appointment of his daughter’s father in law Tilak Rawal as the ambassador to New Delhi, different media outlets have reported by quoting the Baluatar source. Odd to know, why Baluatar, PM Deuba's official residence, is disclosing such a secret deal between the alliance partners and the CJ! Moreover, the court verdict to assign Deuba as the PM by giving a deadline was extra-judicial, say legal experts.
CJ Rana, at the cost of favouring the alliance partners on the court cases, has learnt to have claimed his share in the government appointments.
Following the SC verdicts, the word “setting in the court” has become very popular among the political circle.
