Kathmandu, 9 October: Former King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev has decided not to offer Dasain Tika to the general public due to the inconvenience created by the Covid-19 pandemic, informed the King's press secretary Dr Phani Pathak.  Issuing a press note, Pathak has stated that the former King has also cancelled the regular programme of visiting different Shakti Piths on Astami, the eighth day of the Dasain festival.
