Kathmandu, 8 October: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, after almost three months of assuming office, has been able to give the final shape to his cabinet. According to the notice issued by the President’s Office, the following is the list of the cabinet of ministers and their portfolios:

  2. Balkrishna Khand: Home Minister
  3. Gyanendra Bahadur Karki: Communications and Information Technology Minister
  4. Pampha Bhushal: Energy and Water Resources Minister
  5. Rajendra Prasad Shrestha: Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister
  6. Birodh Khatiwada: Health and Population Minister
  7. Janardan Sharma: Finance Minister
  8. Minendraprasad Rijal: Defence Minister
  9. Umakant Chaudhari: Drinking Water Minister
  10. Narayan Khadka: Foreign Affairs Minister
  11. Renukumari Yadav: Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Minister
  12. Prem Bahadur Aale: Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister
  13. Dilendra Prasad Badu: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister
  14. Devendra Poudel: Education, Science and Technology Minister
  15. Mahindra Ray Yadav: Agriculture and Livestock Minister
  16. Uma Regmi: Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister

  It is believed that Hamal has become minister from chief justice Cholendra S Rana.
