Kathmandu, 8 October: European Union ambassador Nona Deprez and her team are denied to travel Korala Pass, Nepal-China border pass in Mustang District. The Nepali security officials deployed at Nechung Customs has stopped the EU ambassador and her team from visiting Korala Pass.  The District Police Office in Mustang has clarified that foreigners are not permitted to go to Korala Pass even if they have obtained a permit from the Immigration Department. The team of the EU ambassador had reached Nechung Customs on 1 October from where, the Nepali border security personnel had stopped the team from proceeding towards Korala, around 10 km far from there. The EU team returned from Nechung.  The team had reached Mustang for a field study on the possibility of Pashmina production in the district, reports Annapurna Post daily.
