Kathmandu, 8 October: after 88 days of tussle, bargaining and tug of war, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been able to expand his cabinet of ministers. This time, Gajendra Hamal, non-MP, has also become the minister under the quota of chief justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana. It is said that Deuba, Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Nepal have tried to pay back the obligation of the CJ for rewarding them in the war against K.P. Sharma Oli. Hamal is the brother-in-law of CJ Rana. Hamal has become the minister for industry, commerce and supplies, known to be a lucrative ministry.  From the Maoist Center, besides those who are already assigned to the ministerial position, Shashi Shrestha, Devendra Poudel and Maheshwar Gahatraj have become ministers.  From the UML’s splinter party the Unified Socialist, Prem Aale, Krishna Kumar Shrestha, Ramkumari Jhakri, Birodh Khatiwada have become ministers. Bhawani Khapung has become the state minister from the party. Ale and Shrestha were sided with Oli and later had joined the Nepal camp during the split of the UML.  The Nepali Congress is enjoying eight ministries. Besides those who had already become ministers from the party, Dilendra Badu, Uma Regmi, Milendra Rijal, Unakanta Chaudhari have become the ministers from the party. Umkanta Chaudhari and Uma Regmi belong to the Krishna Shitaula camp in NC. The Ramchandra Poudel faction has got only two ministerial portfolios.  From Janata Samajwadi Party, Renu Yadav, Rajendra Shrestha, Ramshaya Yadav and Mahendra Yadav have become the minister. The newly appointed ministers have already taken oath of office from the President today. People's News Monitoring Service
