NC leaders visiting India
Kathmandu, 7 October: After one and a half months of the visit of the foreign department chief of the Indian ruling party BJP, three Nepali Congress leaders are visiting India at the invitation of BJP.
NC leaders Udaya Shumsher Rana, Ajay Chaurasia, led by co-general secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat, who are closed to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, leaving for Delhi today.
The visiting members said that the visit is aimed at strengthening the relations between the parties from the two countries.
"The visit will make it easier to understand each other's interests and concerns at the party leadership level and also develop common views on some issues, the level of understanding,” said Mahat about the significance of the visit.
He informed that the visiting members are scheduled to meet top leaders of the BJP and the government in Delhi during the visit, although, it is not disclosed whom the Nepali leaders are going to meet.
