China to provide one million doses Synovac vaccine to Nepal
Kathmandu, 7 October: The Chinese government has decided to provide one million doses of Synovac vaccine to Nepal. During a meeting with Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha, Chinese Ambassador Hou Yanqi informed that China would provide one million vaccines against the Covid-19 pandemic on grant assistance.
Minister of State Shrestha tweeted that China would provide one million doses of vaccine as a grant. Currently, the Synovac vaccine is not used in Nepal.
WHO has already approved Synovac against Covid-19.
