A talk programme on “comrade Pushpalal in the Nepalese Communist movement and current political situation” was organized by Pushpalal Memorial Foundation on the occasion of the 17th Pushpalal Memorial Day. In the programme, communist leaders stressed the need to establish unity among the leftist parties in the forthcoming general elections in order to give political stability to the nation. Speaking as the chief guest, Prime Minister Man Mohan Adhikari stated that the so-called unity of the oppositions is not a real unity because, he said, they knew each other and on top of all people knew them as well. He said every possibility of leftist unity will be sought in the next election with a broad mind as guided by the late Pushpalal. People’s Review 27 July 1995
