By Our Reporter After almost three months of formation of the present government led by Sher Bahadur Deuba, the meeting of the high-level task force on Tuesday finalised which party to get which ministerial portfolio, however, when the cabinet will be expanded, it has not been confirmed. If everything goes okay, by Thursday evening, the new ministers may take the oath of office. Madhav Nepal, chair of the Unified Socialist Party, is not satisfied with the number of ministries his party has received. Nepal believes that he was the key person to give birth to the present alliance and the new government, yet, he is feeling deceived by the alliance partners. Upendra Yadav is also not much encouraged by the present agreement. However, to satisfy Yadav, DPM’s post can be created. Also, the alliance partners have agreed to provide a deputy speaker’s post to the Janata Samajwadi Party led by Yadav. As the number of ministerial candidates is very high in all the parties in the alliance, it has become difficult for the leadership to manage the situation. Meanwhile, the delayed expansion of the cabinet has halted many important works in different ministries due to the lack of concerned ministers. As of now, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is looking after 15 ministerial portfolios, he is unable to give time and secretaries from concerned ministries are compelled to stay in the queue at the PM’s residence to get Deuba's signature on ministerial decisions.
