Kathmandu, 3 October: The statute national convention of the CPN UML concluded today in Godawari. The national convention adopted the political document presented by UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli, party organization document presented by general secretary Ishwar Pokhrel and statute amendment document presented by deputy general secretary Bishnu Poudel. According to the newly adopted statute, there will be 15-member party executives including one chairman, one senior vice chairman, five vice-chairmen, one general secretary, one vice general secretary and seven secretaries. There will be a secretariat of the party executives.  Accordingly, there will be a 45-member standing committee and a 225-member central committee. However, the structure of the politburo will not exist.  The Party has decided to hold its 10th national convention in Butwal from 26 to 28 November. The national convention in Butwal will elect a new executive body. The party has made a minor change in its logo.  People’s News Monitoring Service
