
Kathmandu, 26 September: Dr Roshan Pokharel, Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population has said that India was likely to deliver 2 million doses of Covishield vaccine to Nepal by the first week of October. "The final date of delivery is not confirmed yet, but we have been expecting two million doses of Covishield soon," Secretary Pokharel is quoted as saying in media.
Last week, India had announced that it would resume exports of Covid-19 vaccines in October. Also, India is due to provide 1 million doses of vaccine as per the advanced payment made by the government of Nepal
