Kathmandu, 26 September: The top leaders of the ruling coalition have agreed to scrap the ordinance to amend the Political Parties Act 2078, and expand the Cabinet within a few days. The senior leaders of alliance agreed to scrap the ordinance through a next Cabinet meeting, according to Mahendra Raya Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSPN). "After the annulment of the ordinance, Cabinet will be expanded," he is quoted in media.
The incumbent government had issued the ordinance to amend the Political Parties Act a month back, paving the way for the political parties to split.
