Kathmandu, 23 September: Nepal recorded a total of 1,239 new cases of Covid-19 and 13 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 788,769 according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 11,072 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 756,954 with 1,324 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 20,743. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 158 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 48 and 33 respectively.
