Nepal, Yadav create obstacle on expansion of cabinet

athmandu, 23 September: The meeting of the senior leaders in the alliance held on 22 September evening could not decide on the expansion of the cabinet as Madhav Nepal and Upendra Yadav opposed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Maoist Center chairman Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda’s proposal.
Nepal, chair of the Unified Socialist Party asked to wait till the Supreme Court verdict on the split of the political parties. Similarly, Upendra Yadav, chair, Janata Samajbadi Party remarked that unless scrapping the ordinance related to the split of the party, the cabinet expansion process should be halted.
