
Kathmandu, 23 September: The Women Leadership Forum of the Confederation of Nepali Industries (CNI)and Nabil Bank Limited, the first private bank of Nepal, on Wednesday organized an interaction session on Nabil Sustainable Banking and Small and Medium Credit for Women Entrepreneurs.
Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, Anil Keshari Shah, said that the bank aims to support sustainable development by creating entrepreneurs by bringing entrepreneurship development and financial access to the villages through sustainable banking. He underlined on promoting financial literacy along with financial access and shed light on the initiatives taken to encourage women entrepreneurship in order to empower them economically.
Lila Prasad Ojha, Manager of Nabil Sustainable Banking and Nabil Farmer Loan and Nabil Entrepreneurial Loan under Nabil Bank and Niraj Kumar Basnet Danil, Head of Microfinance Department spoke about women-centric loan facilities and other banking schemes under Nabil Sustainable Banking.
