Kathmandu, 18 September: Nepal recorded a total of 1,066 new cases of Covid-19 and 16 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 783,910 according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 11,028 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 747,800 with 1,234 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 25,082. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 167 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 52 and 32 respectively.
