
Kathmandu, 16 September: A team of Nepal Police made public two people who were arrested with a huge amount of golden jewelry from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Police had recently arrested Bodhraj Bhandari, 30, of Badagoriya Rural Municipality-1 in Kailali district and Murariraj Adhikari, 47, of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-2 in Dhanusha district who were about to board a flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar in Morang district with 3.360 kilograms of gold. They were nabbed during a routine security check at the airport, police said, adding that the jewelry they were carrying were worth over Rs 22 million.
