
Kathmandu, 13 September: A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday demanding immediate conducting of hearing on a case filed against Constitutional Council Ordinance.
Advocate Om Prakash Aryal moved the apex court after hearing on the case was postponed following an interim order not to hear the dispute related to the Ordinance on Constitutional Council.
The SC had issued an interim order not to hear the dispute over the ordinance in the Constitutional Bench till the final settlement of the writ petition. A single bench of Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal had issued the order.
