Kathmandu, 7 September: Educational institutions in Kathmandu Valley are resuming their teaching learning activities physically from September 17. A meeting of the Chief District Officers of the Kathmandu Valley on Monday took a decision to this effect. “A decision has been taken that schools could be opened that by fully adopting health safety protocols viewing the situation of Covid-19 infection. However, authority has been given to local level whether to open the schools or not by analyzing the situation of Covered-19 infection,” Kali Prasad Rijal, Chief District Officer of Kathmandu is quoted as saying. Schools in wards with no reported cases can run physical classes from September 17 by adopting health safety protocols while schools in other wards can run physical classes viewing Covid-19 situation.
