Kathmandu, 7 September: Advocate Om Prakash Aryal has filed an application drawing the attention of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana to immediately start the hearing on the case related to Constitutional Council in the Constitutional Bench. The dispute under consideration in the Constitutional bench should not be stopped by the order of the single bench and the hearing should be started immediately. "As the consequences of the interim order preventing the hearing of the Constitutional bench from a single bench are very serious, it could cause irreparable damage to the judiciary," Advocate Aryal is quoted as saying in media.  A single bench of Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal had issued an interim order not to hear the ordinance dispute related to the Constitutional Council immediately after the Supreme Court heard the writ petition filed on the issue of whether the Chief Justice should sit in the Constitutional bench or recuse.
