
Kathmandu, 4 September: The ward level convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) that kicked off on September the 3rd concluded in 35 out of the 77 districts . The ruling party’s central election committee published the name the of active members in 56 districts.
NC addressed the longstanding disputed active membership issue in the party forming a committee which had probed into the dispute and come up with the name list of those meeting the criteria to be active member. The 14th national convention of the ruling NC, which has over 850,000 active members, has been rescheduled from November 25-29 later this year.
