
Kathmandu, 2 September: Over 10 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the country. The vaccination campaign is ongoing from the government level.
It may be noted that the very first meeting of the Council of Ministers after Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba assumed office on July 13 decided to administer Covid-19 vaccines to all the eligible citizens by coming mid-April. Till Wednesday, 10 million 92 thousand jabs have been administered, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. According to the data, 17.9 per cent population (5,424,836) have received the first dose of the vaccine while 15.4 (4,667,328) have been administered the complete dose of the vaccine.
