Kathmandu, 31 August: On Monday, Nepal recorded a total of 16 deaths and 2,295 new coronavirus cases. With the latest addition, total number of corona virus infection has reached 844,488. According to, 1,808 people have recovered from the contagion. With this, the number of recovered people has reached 714,520. The recovery rate is 93.9 per cent, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, 16 more people succumbed to the deadly virus taking the total death toll to 10,730.
