Two faces of Madhav Nepal
Kathmandu, 30 August: Madhav Nepal, chairman of the newly established Nepal Communist Party Unified Socialist Party, is elected as the leader of the parliamentary party also.
Why Nepal wished to become the leader of the parliamentary party when he had already become the party chairman as he was always advocating for “one person one post” when he was the senior leader in the Nepal Communist Party chaired by K.P. Sharma Oli!
Nepal, even after the split of the Nepal Communist Party and restoration of the UML, didn’t wish to remain within the party demanding Oli’s resignation from one post.
Nepal even denied accepting the ten-point agreement formulated by the second generation leaders aimed at stopping the UML from a split.
Nepal had always blamed Oli for performing dictatorship in the party and he was advocated for rule of law but now he has taken the responsibility for selecting the names of the ministers included in the Deuba led cabinet from his party.
Nepal has also demonstrated Oli like behaviour at the party.
