Kathmandu, 27 August: District presidents of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) continue to protest, demanding to make public the list of all active members of the party. Some district presidents of the NC are staging a relay protest in the party central office, Sanepa demanding correct distribution of party active membership by investigating into it in line with party statute and standards. The NC on August 14 had endorsed the report of the investigation committee on central active membership. The protestors have demanded immediate release of name lists of the active members and amendment of the election directives following the similar kind of treatment to all district presidents in the election process.
