Kathmandu, 26 August: Bhim Acharya has become the chief minister of Province No 1. Earlier today Sherdhan Rai had tendered resignation from the post of the chief minister and Acharya was elected as the parliamentarian party leader of the UML unopposed.  The Province Chief had accepted Rai’s resignation immediately and Acharya was declared the chief minister.
