Kathmandu, 24 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,525 new cases of Covid-19 and 35 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 751,001 according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,568 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 702,183 with 2,086 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 38,250. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 518 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 119 and 52 respectively.
