Kathmandu, 21 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,075 new cases of Covid-19 and 30 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 745,731 according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,485 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 695,925 with 2,382 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 39,321. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 483 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 103 and 81 respectively.
