Kathmandu,19 August: Nepal recorded a total of 3,075 new cases of Covid-19 and 33 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 742,228, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,429 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 691,299 with 2,126 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 40,500. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 639 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 127 and 101 respectively.
