Kathmandu, 19 August: The    Upper    Tamakoshi  Hydropower  Project (UTHP), a national pride  project,  has  started  generating 456 Megawatts (MW) of electricity.The  project,  which  had  earlier  started  production from its five units,  has  also  started  production from the sixth on Monday.Along with this, the project,  which  is  under  construction  in  Bigu  Rural  Municipality-1,  Lama  Bagar,  in  Dolakha  district  for  the  past  10  years,  has  reached  the  stage of completion Six units of 76 MW each have been connected to  the  456  MW  project  constructed  under  domestic investment.
