BABBLES

By Babbler The health experts have marked the Kathmandu Valley as the red zone for the Covid-19 pandemic. Presently, while conducting a very nominal number of Covid tests, around 25 percent of infected cases have been seen. If conducted the tests are at the mass level, imagine, what could be the outcome of the infected cases! In other parts of the country also, the surge rate is alarming. It is clear that unless Nepal will not seal the Nepal-India borders alike the Nepal-China border, the country is to suffer from India transmitted Covid havoc! Covid and vehicle movement at night This Babbler is confused by the government decision for halting all the vehicle movement during the night time beginning from 8 pm. What is the relation between the Covid and vehicle, it is surprising. We can see the crowd of people in city marketplaces and even in the government offices. We can see vehicles, including long-distance public transportations, entering the Valley 24 hours. Aren’t they spreading the Covid virus in the community? But the government is afraid of vehicle movement during the night hours. Indian attitude and our political leaders A Nepali youth, Jay Singh Dhami, is disappeared in the Mahakali River when the Indian Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) cut down the rope of the Tuin and the person fell down to the river. The Nepal side tried to conduct a search operation with the help of the drone but the Indian side didn’t give permission to fly the drone on the Indian side. This is an example of the Nepal-India friendship. Oddly, the Nepali political leaders are silent on the killing of a Nepali citizen inhumanly. Odd to notice, when the Indian ambassador paid a courtesy call to our acting Chief of Army Staff, they claimed Nepal-India relations as harmonious and very cordial!
