Kathmandu, 17 August: Nepal recorded a total of 3,274 new cases of Covid-19 and 27 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 737,294, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,354 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 687,069 with 1,929 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 39,871. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 673 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 219 and 141 respectively.
