Kathmandu, 17 August: The process of evacuation of Nepali nationals  from Afghanistan has begun and arrival of stranded Nepalis will begin within the next day or two. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking diplomatic initiative from all sides including Department of Consular Services and the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi. The authorities are in regular contact with the Nepali citizens and their employers through various channels says a statement issued by the Ministry. Meanwhile, as many as 134 Nepalis have registered their details on the web portal of the Department of Consular Services. Earlier, the Ministry had urged all concerned to help collect the details of Nepali nationals in Afghanistan for rescue purpose by registering them on the website of the Consular Services Department at https://mofa.gov.np/registration/.
