
Kathmandu, 14 August: Finally, the Nepal faction in the UML has planned to launch a new party and join the government since this faction didn’t see any future in the party under K.P. Oli.
Although a section in this faction is insisting on party unity, neither chairman K.P. Sharma Oli, nor senior leader Madhav Nepal is seen keen on ending disputes and keeping the party united.
Meanwhile, those in the Nepal faction are eager to become ministers in the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba led cabinet.
The Nepal faction in the UML has received an assurance from Maoist Center chair Pushpakamal Dahal for developing a joint front during the upcoming general elections ensuring the victory of the Nepal faction leaders who support the present alliance government.
