Kathmandu, 10 August: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interlocutory order not to dissolve the Land Related Problems Resolution Commission for the immediate effect. A single bench of Justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada issuing the interlocutory order has asked the concerned authorities to keep land related records and management related issues including physical properties in status quo without changing or transforming the status. Both the sides have been invited for extensive talks on August 17 citing sensitivity and seriousness of the disputed issue. Advocates Mahesh Bhattarai and Prabesh KC had lodged a petition on behalf of the dissolved Commission naming Office of the Prime Ministers and Council of Minister, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and others as defendants.
