Kathmandu, 8 August: The 13th edition of Southh Asian Football Federation(SAFF) Championship will be held from October 1-13 in the Maldives. The SAFF Executive Committee meeting took this decision today after reviewing proposals from both Maldives and Nepal for hosting the Championship.
The surge of Covid-19 in Maldives is less compared to Nepal so the SAFF decided to hold the Championship in Maldives. Also, it has been long since Maldives last hosted the Championship, stated ANFA General Secretary.
