Kathmandu, 5 August: Nepal recorded a total of 3,007 new cases of Covid-19 and 37 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 708,079, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 9,994 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 663,6631 with 2,012 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 34,422. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 766 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 163 and 146 respectively.
