Kathmandu, 5 March: The Nepal government and Nepal Communist Party (Biplav) have signed a three-point agreement ending violent activities by the underground party led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplav.  As per the agreement, NCP Biplav will end all kinds of violent activities and run the party’s activities peacefully. The agreement was inked by Home Minister Rambahadur Thapa and NCP (Biplav)’s leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma at the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and NCP (Biplav) supremo Netra Bahadur Chand (Biplav) this afternoon at the City Hall. Earlier to the signing of the agreement, PM Oli and Chand had addressed the gathering expressing commitment for the restoration of peace in the country.  Points of agreement: Both parties have agreed to solve the nation’s political problems through dialogue. The Nepal Communist Party (Biplav) has agreed to carry out its political activities in a peaceful manner. The government has agreed to lift the ban on the NCP, releasing the party’s leaders and workers I different jails and dismissing all the cases against NCP leaders and workers.  People’s News Monitoring Service
