Kathmandu, 7 February: Frustrated by the inability of punishing the culprit involved in Nirmala Pant's rape and murder, the Nepali Congress and Nepal-Dahal led faction of the Nepal Communist Party have called upon the government to promptly and seriously look into the rape and murder of 17-year-old Bhagirathi Bhatta of Baitadi district and bring the guilty to book. Bhatta was raped and murdered on Thursday while she was returning home from school. Both parties have demanded stern action against the culprits. People's News Monitoring Service
