Kathmandu, 29 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,255 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 8,008 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 231,978.
Among the new cases detected today 548 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 1,404 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 212,590. As of today, there are 17,909 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 25 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1,479, according to MoHP.
